Large southern oak trees covered with illuminated Spanish moss in the woods surrounding Lake Jessup in the Orlando metro area of Florida. The sun is nearly set and the angle allows it to burst through the canopy.

I utilize photography in an attempt to capture the beauty that I see in the world. Whether I am witnessing a wry smile on a mountain gorillas face as it glances around its troop in Uganda, the character of a charismatic Amsterdam canal, or the sun breaking the shell of a new day over the wetlands near my home, my goal is to share that beauty with others through photography.
