Elephant and calf walking down the road in Kruger National Park, South Africa. Their size and strength is evident in every step they take as they move surprisingly quietly through the bush. The African elephant is the largest living terrestrial animal and seeing them up close is an unforgettable experience.

I utilize photography in an attempt to capture the beauty that I see in the world. Whether I am witnessing a wry smile on a mountain gorillas face as it glances around its troop in Uganda, the character of a charismatic Amsterdam canal, or the sun breaking the shell of a new day over the wetlands near my home, my goal is to share that beauty with others through photography.
